H4H Yeo Plays 4 Fans V College XI.
Help for Heroes and ex Imp, Bury, Chester Peterborough and Macclesfield sharp shooter Simon Yeo will play at number 9 on Saturday. The fans game is due to kick off at 10 a.m on the Astroturf at Sincil Bank with admission free with David Becks team playing in the Green 125 commerative shirt. There will be a collection for Help For Heroes and the 12th man around the pitch, pennies really add up so don't feel bad if its only 50p.
Simon will also be in with the Passionistas again this Saturday for the vital derby 6 pointer against Grimsby. He is currently in preparation for The Great North Run and has launched his H4H football game that is set to raise thousands for the cause.
"As you know I have some great memories from Grimsby games. Looking forward to playing with the fans saturday morning and a quick thanks to everyone who has helped me to help my brothers in arms so far. Cheers also to Michael Hortin at BBC Lincolnshire for raising our profile. We are hoping to raise tens of thousands for this cause over the next few months with the two Steve`s doing a motorbike tour de Britain on two superbikes. Thanks there to Wigan Honda, better get that in. The Tour will stop by Sincil Bank on the day of The Morecambe game with Dave Roberts riding his beast of a bike.
