Torres Break Not end of World
On top of Brown, Pearce and perhaps Sutton`s absence we are now looking at ankle ligament problems for Peterborough loanee Sergio Torres. They say it never rains then it pours. It has been tough for Sutton so far which is ever more reason for us to get behind the Imps on Saturday against Grimsby Town.
The left winger is set to undergo a scan today to ascertain the full extent of his injury, though a break has been ruled out. Sadly this crude challenge was another event missed by an appalling referee on Saturday that robbed us of a potential match winner.
If as feared the injury is ankle ligament damage then we could be talking 6 weeks.
