Your Views - Walsall 2-3 The Imps

After last nights astonishing 3-2 extra time victory against Walsall in the First Round of the FA Cup we take a look at what our supporters have to say about it!

'Frenzied and frantic. The FA Cup at its best and we're part of it. What's not to like?'

'Great result, well done to the whole club and especially the travelling fans!'

'A famous victory. A night to be proud of our Club, our players and our Manager. It has been a long time since most of us have seen a team of battlers committed to our club but I think we have them now and the Manager, in my opinion, must take huge credit for that.'

'Great result, esp after conceding so late again to have to drag it into ET. We have turned the corner, would take a point from Saturday now against the land of the giants (Hereford).'

'One of the great things is that the goals are coming from all over the team. I'ts great when you don't have to rely on one or two players. Fantastic effort from everyone - we have a team to be proud of. When did we last say that? Brilliant. Up the Imps.'

'What this means for the club financially makes this result even more massive, 50k + an additional gate receipt, with potential of a 3rd round tie.

Hey, come on lets back the boys on Saturday against Hereford - important we get the fans back now.'

It's hard to explain. I've never wavered in my support but after years of disappointment it is a strange feeling and not one I'm used to. I'd like the opportunity to get used to it though...'

'Amazing night, it's been a long long time since I've been proud to support the club, Reg as put together a team of grafters with an amazing team spirit so well done to him and all the players.'

'Great great team performance, ran for each other, covered first tackles, won the 50:50's, won the headers when it mattered and scored clinically finished goals.

What a night to remember, and God did everyone sing.'

'A big WELL DONE to the 348 and how proud I am to have been part of such a brilliant night out! Thank you Lincoln City's players, thank you to David Holdsworth and his management team and thank you to all the marvellous fans!'

Brilliant night out. The support was non-stop and the fight and desire from the players was all that any of us could ask for. Put my 8-year old on my shoulders when we scored the third goal and nearly fell over backwards as we all jumped up and down. If he falls asleep in school this morning it will be because he experienced the 'Magic of the Cup' that will live with him 'till he dies.

Alan Power won the MOTM vote with 39% of the votes. Definitely one of the most improved players in the last few weeks.
