'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Overall Player Ratings for November

It's time for Vital's Player Rater 'player of the month', and once again this one coincides with a few decent results! These fixtures include the period from the home FA Cup tie against Walsall until the away defeat to Tamworth in the FA Trophy.

Leading the way once again was star striker Jamie Taylor (8.11), who scoops his third player of the month award in four attempts! Somehow City's number ten remains second in terms of overall average to Tom Miller, although that's partly due to the former Norwich defender missing some truly atrocious early season performances through injury as well as the centre half's consistency.

Miller is actually second this month, with a score of 7.82. He is the only player not to go below seven in November and play more than three games, although it is worth bearing in mind there are one or two anomalies this month as all of those who turned out away at Walsall were awarded ten out of ten!

Accounting for this and third place goes to Jake Sheridan this month with a score of 7.72. The industrious wideman scored two sevens, an eight and a ten at Walsall to bring him to that score, continuing on from a few very decent performances in late October!

The squad's ratings are as follows, and with the Walsall game in mind, number of games played (or at least rated in) is in brackets:

1. Paul Farman (6) 7.45
2. Paul Robson -
3. John Nutter (1) 10!
4. Gary Mills (5) 6.91
5. Andrew Boyce (5) 7.59
6. Scott Garner (1) 6.40
7. Adam Smith (6) 6.42

11. Conal Platt -
12. Jake Sheridan (5) 7.72
14. Vadaine Oliver (5) 7.21
