Your Views - Ebbsfleet United 1-1 The Imps

Here's what some of our members had to say after Saturday's 1-1 draw against Ebbsfleet United in the Blue Square Premier.

'Just to point out...we are 3 games unbeaten. Despite losing to Woking and the Cods we still haven't lost that many for a while.'

'Only lost 4 away from home - not too shabby, that.'

'If Taylor doesn't score soon, I think it's worth trying Larkin behind Robinson. We've got to make the most of Robinson, before he inevitably moves on.'

'Just leaving the game - we definitely missed the presence of Oliver to hold the ball up and allow everyone else to play around him and we really really missed the steel and control in midfield of Fofana and mills. With the changes having to be made its understandable how we struggled at least we have the grit and determination to get something out of the game! Ref was awful!'

'Good to see Barraclough play today. I hope we don't loan him out again, I believe he has something to offer.'

'No coincidence that we struggle a bit with all the enforced changes. More to come I imagine so will be a bumpy ride. It seems to be character that's keeping our head above water. We've proved time and again that we're never beaten. Something to build on.'

'I've no idea how he faired, but it is encouraging to see Barraclough play. Unless of course it is a bit of kidology from Reg to help shift him on.'

'Friendly place Ebbsfleet but lacks atmosphere as no segregation. Imps all over the ground except for the Truemans Ales end. First half we were very poor. The goal wasn't solely down to Farman but he should have stopped it. Anyhow he made an excellent save deep in the second half that kept us in it. We were completely outclassed in any aerial competitive balls and despite this resorted to head tennis on many occasions. Stupid. Through the game we hit the woodwork twice but that flatters us as they held procession well. Came out second half and much more aggressive. For some reason I can't fathom we seemed to want to walk the ball into their net. On at least two occasions we were passing deep in their penalty box. Nuts. Last 15 mins consisted of Farman hoofing it down the pitch, we having a go and then rushing back to defend. With seconds to go we managed to score. Ref was very card happy. If that's the best we can do against Ebbsfleet then for get about playoffs and start worrying.'

'Decent performance by an injury ravaged side I would have thought and one where the forced changes probably did not help. If we can keep picking up points on the road, whether poor or not, and turn some of the home games into wins I don't think we will have too much to worry about. I'm not suggesting play offs for one moment - as far as I am concerned the name of the game is to stay well away from the relegation zone and that we are managing at the moment.

Clearly we kept going to the last which is not something that has been much associated with an Imps side over the past few seasons. I consider that personally a massive improvement.'
