Your Views - The Imps 2-4 Newport County

Here's what our members had to say after the 4-2 home defeat against Newport County on Saturday

'Another pasting! I'm disappointed but not surprised. Should have beat Gateshead, Ebbsfleet and Southport.'

'With 3 games coming up against Wrexham,Luton and FGR coming up cannot see any points there - starting to feel like DH has lost the plot!!!

With teams like Braintree and Nuneaton now picking up points it is starting to look pretty grim!!!

Wonder how long we give DH to turn things round as we cannot afford to go into the BSN it will finish the club???'

'Expected that today, still doesn't make it any better. Another weekend ruined.

I keep saying it, but there is no way out. The only way we will leave this league is by joining Boston and Gainsborough. It is a bloody nightmare, absolute git of a division.'

'Preece has to start the next game. Farman needs a spell out of the team - maybe even a loan spell to get some confidence back.'

'Having seen most of our home performances this season this was by far the worst. They weren't a bad side but we got mugged by twenty minutes of pathetic defending.

Even though our defence was poor, our midfield were worse and provided very little protection to the back four. Sorry but Power didn't cut it for me today. Sheridan played much better at right back than he did right of midfield, and Oliver needs to do much more than just head it, even though he is good at it. Don't think Oliver and Taylor playing together works particularly well. Taylor feeds off intelligent passes and even though Oliver won a few in the air they are usually telegraphed by a reasonable defence.

As for Farman, he may have been slightly at fault for the first but the other three were nothing to do with him.'

'Boyce isn't good enough, and never has been. There's time for him to improve, but he shouldn't be a regular starter at this level yet.'

'Grey was totally static in midfield and could not pass to a red and white shirt if the opposition weren't on the field. Miller not very good today either. Personally think that blaming Farman today would be unfair as we just did not have a defence although I thought Robson did well until he gifted them the first goal and then he was all at see. Bush was the reverse, started badly then improved. Thought Power did all right for the first 20 and for the second half but was terrible during the spell where they scored.'
