'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Your Views - The Imps 1-2 Wrexham

Here's what some of our members said after Tuesday night's 2-1 defeat at home against Wrexham in the Blue Square Premier.

'Disappointed albeit against the best. Bugger. Lets not loose to the rest now.'

'Gutted with that we deserved at least a point.'

'The attendance is very alarming. I know it's a cold Tuesday but with no great financial backing how are we going to get out if this division on those attendances. We need a miracle.'

'Deserved a point tonight thought we battled and played well despite not having an awful lot of quality in the final third. Again we are out done by an absolute howler of an error, and despite a good finish for all Farman's recent good work he has thrown it all away with another clanger. For me a GK is a priority in the summer.

Some decent performances Miller and Boyce had good games, and although they don't offer anything attack wise Jordan and Fofana had solid games and Hobson looked lively first half. I am not convinced this Dali will solve any problems he didn't look like a footballer on early impressions.

1300 crowd must be ringing alarm bells - we are in this hole for a very long time no question.'

'We were the better team in the first half, but they worked us out in the 2nd. 4-2-3-1 is very defensive abd we struggle to get momentum in the final third. I'm not sure why Jones was subbed so early in the second half - we seemed to lose our shape a bit after that.

Hobson doesn't do enough for me, tbh, and Power is our only creative player. I'm not sure Farman can be blamed entirely for the second, as has been mentioned there was an evil bobble just before he kicked it.

The biggest worry was the attendance. We'll be in admin before Xmas with crowds like that.'

'As for the game, we were very comfortable until the goal, which came out of nothing. Was it a miss-hit shot or something that found it's way across the box?

Bit of sympathy with Farman for the second because it bobbled up awfully, he's shinned it and the chances of it finding the only player in our half, for him to swing an instinctive boot at it and see it bounce in was unlucky.

That said, in Simpson's 4 games Farman's come for a cross at Woking and got no-where near it, mis-communication at Macc, gave away a penalty (but saved) against Southport and now this last night. Four mistakes in four games that we can't afford.

We were worth a point last night, I think.

Not quite got it right going forward, though.'

We played well but didn't take our chances in the first half and it came back to haunt us!
