Player Profiles: Mamadou Fofana

D.O.B: 07/01/1988
Birthplace: Sarcelles, France.
Position: Midfield
Signed: 30/08/2012
Former Clubs: CS Sedan, Olympique Noisy-le-Sec and La Vitréenne FC, Syrianska FC.

Mo joined the Imps in 2012 and quickly became a fan favourite following his hard-working, marauding performances. A powerhouse with the turning circle of an oil tanker, Fofana can seem clumsy at times, however, he has proven himself to be very effective at Conference level, grabbing his first goal for the club in the final game of the 2012-2013 season at Hyde, with a powerful header. Fofana has previously played for CS Sedan, Olympique Noisy-le-Sec and La Vitréenne FC in his native France before joining the Swedish side, Syrianska FC. Rewarded for his committed displays with a new one-year contract, Fofana will be looking to polish the aspects of his game that are currently lacking, and, if he can do so, has all the physical attributes required to make it into the Football League.
