Another one of Lincoln's longest-serving players, having originally joined on loan from Eastwood Town in November 2011. Despite his hard-working performances, Sheridan initially attracted criticism from sections of Lincoln fans, who believed him to be lacking the required ability to make it in full-time football. David Holdsworth, however, had faith in Sheridan, offering him a new contract and the chance to prove himself in the 2012-2013 season, which the winger certainly did. Widely accepted as Lincoln's most-improved player, Sheridan became one of the club's most consistent performers, creating goals and offering terrific support for his full-back. Sheridan began his career with Notts County, where he made his debut aged just 18. Following his release from County, Jake spent four seasons with Tamworth, helping them to promotion from the Conference North in 2009. Tamworth released Sheridan at the end of the 2010-2011 season.
