Tom Miller Answers VL Members Questions (P1)

Because 18 questions were asked I have decided to publish them in two parts so the last 9 answers will be published later on today.

What was the number 1 reason you decided to stay at Lincoln?

Number one reason was because I enjoyed my last season at the club and felt settled.

What do you expect to achieve as a player this season at Lincoln?

As a player I expect to achieve being in the running for team of the season, they very often tend to look over certain clubs and players, and faces do fit, but I don't see why I cant get there. I always want to improve myself and with simmo i will do this so will set the bar high and I feel as though I am more than capable for this!

Can I get a discount on herbalife?

Any Lincoln City fan that wants to improve their wellbeing, lose weight, improve energy, bulk muscle, I'll offer a 25% discount for remainder of the season. Plus I'll have a coffee with them and talk them through there program. Its not the best nutritional supplement on the planet for no reason! I look forward to making the might Imps fans tanks!

Spill the beans! Who were the other clubs that showed interest in you?

As I was under re-engagement terms with Lincoln and was never in doubt it would not be fair to say other clubs who approached me. I did get calls from some league clubs, and also from some BSP Clubs, but always wanted to get things right with Lincoln. I believe in development and right now there is no better place for me than here. I would lie if I didn't want to play higher, but I owe it to the fans and the Club to try my hardest to play higher with Lincoln.

Where is your target to finish next season realistically?

Realistically its hard to say as a lot of clubs are still building, a lot of transfers going on and its hard to say who will gel the quickest and the strongest. We're all at 0 points so its anybody's. But top half finish minimum! Without doubt! The squads looking good.

Where do you prefer to play CB or RB?

Last season I really enjoyed my time at RB and felt that with each game I improved there and would love to master the position. I always liked CB as well, as long as I'm on the pitch I'm happy. My main position though was always holding midfield.

Biggest crowd you've played in front of?

Biggest crowd I have played in front of was probably Levski Sofia with 20,000 there but felt like 40000 as the fans were ridiculously loud and passionate.

Biggest game you've played in?

Biggest game I have played in was the Europa League game against Levski Sofia.

Having played for Dundalk in the League of Ireland, how do you think that level compares to the BSP? Are there differences in style?

The League of Ireland is a good league. I went there to overcome being sidelined for a long time and had a great season where I won player of the year and young player for my club and was highly regarded. I played against a lot of players there that have now gone onto high English leagues. Football is a funny game. I have played in some great games in the BSP that would definitely match up to the Irish League if not better it!
