Harrogate Town 2-3 Lincoln City

Harrogate Town 2-3 Lincoln City

Lincoln team:
Farman, Sheridan, Foster, Boyce, Newton, Fofana, Nolan, Power, Rowe, Yussuf, Wright

Three first half goals from Nick Wright ensured that The Imps went into half-time with a comfortable lead.

The Imps went 1-0 up inside the first minute when Newton crossed the ball into Wright who guided the ball in via the crossbar.

A well-worked second goal saw Danny Rowe slide a brilliant ball into the box between the Harrogate centre-backs and Wright was on the end of it and finished brilliantly again.

Wright clinched his hat-trick before half time when he rounded the keeper and slotted the ball into an empty net.

At half-time The Imps made two changes:
Waide Fairhust on for Adi Yussuf.
Bohan Dixon on for Nick Wright.

However, in the second half Harrogate Town came back onto the pitch and looked really up for it and managed to pull two goals back.

The first of the two Town goals came from Chris Hall who headed the ball into the net from a superb Craig Nelthorpe cross.

The second Harrogate goal was scored by Michael Woods, set up by Liam Hardy after he made a great run.

The attendance at tonight's game was 256.
