'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Views After 3-2 Luton Defeat

'Can't win them all, although a bloody good effort by the Imps.'

'Disappointing to lose after being ahead twice, but Luton is a difficult place to go. At least the lads get to go again on Tuesday, put this one behind them and try and get points from Hereford.

Also, the Luton fans are the worst sort. Only started singing when they were winning. They may get the highest attendances in the league but their support is poor in my opinion (if you know what I mean).'

'Missed opportunity today no question.'

'Not a bad performance but if we expect to get promoted we really need to keep a lead.'

'Feel like I found a pound then lost a fiver. Oh well. Off to Hereford next. Hopefully three points.'

'Very, very disappointed with the final result yesterday which probably goes without saying. Afraid that in my view Farman probably cost us the game. Having said that I think Luton really are one to watch this year. They have some really good players and John Still has ensured they have some back-bone in their team which was without 2 or 3 starters. Pleased to see that we 'had a go' at them because if we hadn't I think they would have pulled us to pieces at the back with the amount of players they pushed forward when they had the ball and the pace they have both upfront and midfield. Having said all of that we did very well for large parts of the game. The usual suspects, Tomlinson, Power, Miller and Newton all shone again. We really do need to get midfielders up to support the frontman when we have the ball. The number of times there was the opportunity to get the ball into the box and there was no one actually in it is very worrying. Only other thing I have to say is that I am concerned about Wright. Does not appear to be anywhere near the player I thought he was. Hope he proves me wrong.'

'Even the really top class keepers are prone to the odd mistake - think he has played well in the other 9 games this season - but yesterday was certainly an off day for the defence in general and him in particular.'
