'Definitely in a relegation scrap having taken only 14 points from the last 16 games having taken 13 from the first 6 games.
If we can't beat a part time team with 10 men for over an hour we have problems.
Really can't see where the next league win is coming from looking at the next 4.
Does Tomlinson have rocks for brains? Booked straight after a ban!'
'How much would it cost the financially strapped club to get rid of Simmo and who would they bring in ? At 3 o'clock I didn't think our line looked that bad considering the players we have in the squad except maybe two Dixon and Wright didn't Dixon score the second so proves what I know.
Like a lot of people I am not sure what has happened with Fairhurst? If fit I would of started with Rowe and Fairhurst instead of Dixon and Wright.
Worried like a lot of people about what will happen on Boxing day in front of our biggest crowd of the season and the people who only attended from time to time. I feel if the crowd get on the players back from the start it won't help. Who knows we got a 1-1 draw at their place on new years day after being humiliated a week earlier 4-1 at home last season.'
'Poor match between two poor sides. Tomlinson worked hard was unlucky with his booking. Newton had a bad day defensively at fault all three goals. Good to see Robinson and Rowe back, Wright was a joke. Farman left his brains behind 2nd half, kept doing totally stupid things. Chance to go on boxing day but they'll probably get hammered so probably won't bother, having seen that display I can understand the general mood on here.'
'I do fear for the next four games I just hope we can dig something out from somewhere. It really will make January and February massive months. I think we will about survive, however, after the next four games I expect we will be on the bring of the bottom 4.'
'To be honest it wasn't the highest quality game but what it lacked in quality it made up for in drama.
Coming back from 2-0 down showed a bit of ticker and we fought all the way to the end. Tomlinson and Miller should both have levelled it well before then.
We do need to improve and some key personnel need a run in the team, particularly Robinson but I don't think we are quite as bad as some people bang on about us being.'
'Yesterday was a very poor performance but a decent result. An away point always is. There was not one stand-out player yesterday. Much has been said about Wright. I think he is abysmal. Why on earth Mr Simpson sticks with him I do no know. Surely to goodness we must see Fairhurst get a go ahead of him. Talking of Fairhurst. Is he another player that Mr Simpson has fallen out with? I really don't buy this 'he isn't fit enough' garbage. He was fit enough at the start of the season!!! Anyway back to yesterday. One of the biggest problems we had was that Newton had a winger attacking him. That meant that he could not get forward. That meant that our main attacking thrust, yes a full-back folks, was blunted. Tomlinson ran around like a headless chicken. Wright did absolutely nothing. The midfield was very poor with virtually no creativity about it. Rowe came on and looked completely lost, Robinson looked lost but not as completely. Farman was poor. Second goal was down to him and his handling was not nearly at a standard of a professional goalkeeper. Miller has started to take his long throw-ins with a completely flat trajectory. Why? I don't think we got on the end of any of them yesterday. In my view there were precious few bright spots. Foster was one of them. Having said all of that we got a point and at least the team showed a lot of heart to do that. Is heart going to be enough? Thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment thanks to that last gasp goal which I thought was an own goal but I believe it has been given to Robinson. Not looking forward to listening to Boxing Day on the radio. Would much rather be there but expecting absolutely nothing from the game. The same goes for New Year's Day which I will be at. What about away at Halifax? Going to get anything from that? Think it might be a bleak Xmas and New Year period for us. Hope I am wrong. Please make me wrong. Now where are those rose-tinted glasses that I am famous (infamous) for? Toodle pip.'
'I can't believe anyone would be surprised at a player in anyway 'milking' being kicked off the ball.
Do they seriously think all of their players - especially Seddon - would just get up straight away?'
'Today's NLP headline of the game is 'Panto season at Chester!' Don't necessarily agree, but it was an entertaining and incident packed game. 6 goals, 2 pens, a sending off, missed chances, a last gasp equaliser. Agree away draw always good, but not helped by one of our star players having a poor game, and forwards missing gilt edged chances.'
