LCFC Academy 10k Sponsorship Details

A number of Lincoln City fans, football club directors, staff, Academy players and their parents have all agreed to enter the 18th Annual 'Active Nation' Lincoln 10K Road Race on Sunday 6th April 2014 to raise money for the Future Imps Fund.

Some of the Academy's younger players are taking part in the junior races the previous day: the 2.8km Direct Textiles Primary School Race or the 5km Running Imp Secondary School Race.

The Youth Academy nominated a charity partner for the 2013/14 and 20145/15 seasons. That charity is Caring Matters Now - the only dedicated UK charity to provide information and support for those affected by Congenital Melanocytic Naevus. More information about the work of CMN can be found at the CMN Website.

Everyone who is running on behalf of the Future Imps Fund has committed to give a minimum of 5% to Caring Matters Now. Some runners are also donating a percentage of the amounts they raise to other charities or causes that they support. Details of which charities and causes each runner is supporting can be found on their individual sponsorship pages.

Please support one or more of the runners to help the Future Imps Fund and a number of excellent charities.
