Lincoln City head to West Yorkshire this Bank Holiday Monday, as they look to continue their excellent start to the season away at The Shay. They will face a difficult task though, as they face table toppers Halifax Town who have won all of their games so far this season.

After Tony Diagne's controversial red card last time out, Imps manager Gary Simpson will be forced into at least one change, with Hamza Bencherif likely to be played in the Imps back four, as usual replacement Tom Miller still struggles with injury.

This will mean that one of Connor Robinson, Marcus Marshall or Todd Jordan will be rewarded with a start although which of that trio will start is anyone's guess. As he featured as a late sub on Saturday, Marcus Marshall will probably get the nod out wide although he did struggle the last time he started.

Like Lincoln City, Halifax Town have also begun the season unbeaten winning all of their games and only conceding one goal in the process. They have though faced four teams who are fancied for the drop, and will face a more difficult challenge against the Imps who have faced tougher opposition so far this season.

Last season Halifax carried out a destruction of the Imps over the festive period at The Shay, winning 5-1 with the Imps losing captain Alan Power early on to a red card. In the return fixture though the Imps faired a lot better, and an impressive hat-trick from Ben Tomlinson wrapped up the three points for City at Sincil Bank.
