37% Think We Will Beat Halifax

37% Think We Will Beat Halifax

37% of our Front Page Poll voters think we will win today against Halifax, 35% think we will lose and the remaining 28% think we will draw.

Let's take a look at some of the comments:

Snats: "Just think Halifax might edge it on the basis that they had a pretty leisurely win at Chester today, so will be better rested. I'll say 1-0 to Halifax, but I would be delighted to be proven wrong."

Rasenimp: "2-2 Tomlinson, Burrow.

They have had a very good start and I guess had an easier win today but I think we will be the best team they've played so far.

I assume Diagne misses out (never quite get the time before suspensions etc, but as a red card...) which means Bencherif at the back. I think we will miss his presence up top."

Impish: "Yes Jordan is injured so doubt very much he will be risked or ready for the Shaymen. Obviously Hamza will partner NB and then Marshall or Robinson will come in up top. Going for a narrow loss and hopefully with my game predictions so far, be delighted if I am wrong again."

Impalex: "Halifax have what seems, on paper at least, to have been a very much easier start to the season than we have; Dover, Welling, Southport and Chester so I believe they will have more to fear from us than we of them. I am looking forward to it being a very entertaining game of football with the Imps shading it 1-0 or 2-1. Bencherif might be more likely than Diagne to help the 'clean sheet' cause but we will also miss his intelligent forward moves into space from midfield. Mind you, he'll still be able to go up for corners and other set pieces; remember Futcher?

I also forecast FGR to slip up at home now that Brizzle have found their first win and a draw at the New Lawn would suit us very much as we power up to the top of the table!"

Skip155: "Teams coming at us generally suits us. I suspect a lot will hinge on how well Burrow can hold the ball up - not sure what he's up against there. It's also the kind of game you want Hamza doing what he did yesterday in Midfield so if he does go to CB, whilst he definitively won't weaken us we'll still miss him in a more influential position. 2-1 defeat I think and then the true test comes on Saturday. How we bounce back."

BrownImp: "4-1 to Halifax. We'll finish comfortably above them come the end of the season, though."
