I think your post is spot on. I did think though Robson did ok until his mistake. |

| Farman isn't the weak link. Boyce & Robson gave 2 of the worst displays i've seen in my 20+ years of supporting the Imps today. Robson has looked a poor player from day 1, and Boyce gets worse every time I watch him. Someone compared him to Adam Watts recently, and whilst I hope that is wrong I can definately see where they are coming from. |

| Boyce and Robson sum up what is wrong with LCFc at the moment. Both will cost a goal every 2-3 games, or, to put it another way , 20-30 goals a season between them. Neither should be anywhere near a starting place at the club. Boyce may improve in time, but Robson would struggle to get into a sunday league side. If we can't do better than this couple of jokers in defence then we might as well give up.

I said the same thing today and compared him, recent performance anyway, to Watts and Swaibu. |

| Just flounced in to say our first goal was a peach, and the second was a decent finish. It's a pity we can't press and get the wide defenders forward from the off, we can let any amount in trying to defend so it wouldn't be any worse if we left a few gaps by pushing forward. In fact it might help the 'defence' keep out of each others way. |

Our first goeal was brilliant. but that's the point - did we make Newport work anywhere near as hard as we had to to score? No, we didn't. They just had to wait until one of our inept defenders made an inevitable error and capitalise upon it.
You score two goals, you reasonably expect a point. But we could have scored 3 goals in out last two games and still come away with nothing.
Unless Holdsworth can find better than Robson and Boyce, he does not deserve to be LCFC manager. |

| DH apparently told Hortin that he took one of Boyce and Robson off for performance reasons, and the other for 'other issues', which Hortin took to mean injury.....
I'm flouncing off again now, goodnight all.

Well I agree with the half time subs - on that performance those 2 were absolutely shocking - Robson's performance as a fullback was probably the worst I have ever seen at the Bank. Absolutely terrible (and I've seen some shockers ). I'd rather see a youth player given a chance than sit through that again. |

| A month ago we started too look like a team but are back to where we were in September. I know we dont have the budget compared to other sides. But players on £5 a week you wouldnt expect them to make those mistakes. We are just non league fodder and have to prey we can beat the lesser sides again. |

Would assume Robson for performance? and then Boyce tactical by putting Robinson in place to be more attacking? |

He made a couple of big mistakes that led to goals. They still required good finishes. On another day he may have got away with it but not yesterday. Those aside, he was only marginally worse than the rest of the back 4. |

Haha I guess that's true - he got minus 1 out of 10, compared to big fat zeros. It wasn't a high bar ;- ) |
