Just back home to the pad, got dried out... not the greatest of games but we mastered the conditions the best. PGR dier first half with the wind, we could have been a couple up by half time. Second half a bit more equal but we most of having the wind...

Well done to all those that travelled and have a long trip home, hopefully they will have dried out on the way home.

Great win tonight. I listened to the whole thing with makepeace and thommo on the grimsbydr.ddr.net link here in North Yorkshire. Worked really well. Thanks for the link. UTI

Just had a look at the photographs taken by Press Association tonight. Can't see any that show spitting, but one clearly shows Collins grab Raggett's left wrist.

Just listened to a clip of the Cooper interview on Twitter. The interviewer is an absolute berk, and comes up with loads of leading questions.

' typical lincoln goal'

'ref was poor'

'should have done something about the centre half going off'

And that's not Cooper saying that! https://twitter.com/BBCGlos/status/907727467879784448

Interview with their player is amazing as well. Our smallest player is 6 foot apparently, we weren't 'very nice' and Rhead is '30 stone'. But he 'doesn't want to sound bitter'. Just totally priceless.

Carry on as they are and FGR won't be watching any Lincoln matches next season...

Yeah but no but yeah but...what happened was.......

The biggest load of tosh ever.

Typical Lincoln goal...Yes...their defender let the ball bounce...and missed his second go at the header to recover. Anderson got the ball...beat the keeper and scored.

We don't play very nicely. Well this ain't a fecking tea party laddy..it is a competitive game of football, where it requires passion, drive, determination, skill and a desire to win.

No team are tearing them apart...apparently. No. Perhaps not....but their own players keep on making stupid mistakes. What a bunch of sore losers.

And as for our Licence fee going on about "typical Lincoln goal." Well as Cloughy would say. "You need to score more goals than the other team."

Simple really.

I guess passion is such a foreign concept to FGR fans that it counts as a "circus trick". Not really surprising.

No we'll just gob on the opposition.

Players there are about as delusional as the fans.

Awful conditions awful facilities tent and muddy field dilapidated stand.

Forest green were awful plenty of crosses first half. If green had played we would have won that comfortably

Their captain is a disgrace - nasty piece of work as is cooper jnr!

Fantastic goal

Fantastic defending. If they were playing all season they wouldn't have scored.

Ref was terrible. Officials did nothing to stop the pushing at the end. Their goalkeeper was definitely involved. However it spilled over to most players. Poor losers

Clearly no love lost between the sides, but I have to say I am getting rather tired of listening to losing teams whinging like babies about how we play. If, as many of them seem to suggest, we are one dimensional how is it they can't beat us?
Bottom line is that while the sore losers in this league keep making their excuses we will carry on picking up the points...

We played some really good football first half, some great passing moves.
We then went a bit long ball second half with Rheady on, I get why - I think the intention was to pen them in with the strong wind behind us. It didn't really work and made it much more open.
Our goal was a typical wet and windy night goal, great pace from Harry and cool finish.
Referee was poor though was right to give an indirect free kick against Farms who took an age with the ball in his hands.
Forest Green - oh dear. Spent far too long appealing for every little thing, falling over, moaning to the ref over nothing. Number 14 up top was useful. As for the rest they were really poor. Their midfield were completely overpowered by Woody and Bostwick. Sacked in the morning was the Lincoln chat, wouldn't be surprised if that was true.
What the f they are doing putting away fans on an open terrace where they had about 50 fans in the covered terrace behind the goal is beyond me. I'll probably dry out by some time next week.
We played better football with Palmer up top and Knott behind rather than lumping it to Rhead in the second half, though conditions may have dictated strategy.
A good win on a horrible night.
Up the Imps. Now onto the other clown of manager's outfit on Saturday.....

Worked for me at Hillsborough too, so thanks from me as well. Great win lads, what a week. Loads of sore losers in this division aren't there?
