Our team and managers are certainly coming under fire now from a lot of sides. We have passionate managers and a team who fully support them. We are not long ball totally, play some great football, not particularly dirty, have a few tricks like the Farman injury during the game but I think basically other teams are jealous of our success.

A team who live up the A46 have 5 reds in the first 5 games but strangely they aren't a dirty side.
Totally agree it the other teams in league 2 especially the cods and stags are very jealous of us and constantly tell us how to win this league even though they've sod all since returning to the league.

Having now seen the 'extended' highlights on ifollow, clearly Raggs was seriously angry at the end, specifically with Collins. As he's normally tough as nails and its all water off a duck's back, I'm inclined to believe his version. FA have decided otherwise, so it goes.

What's really p*ssing me off (but not much) is the narrative "we're big, dirty, push the limits". The only side whingeing at the ref on Tuesday was FGR - a 50-50 kerfuffle for the ball was ended with a foul against Woodyard, I'd say he had a case for a foul on him beforehand. FGR players all round the ref for a yellow, compare with our lads when a possible last man red in the first half and a handball in the second.

We're actually too soft, need to be more streetwise

As for David Brent's comment that we won without being a threat otherwise. Unless the edit was very, very clever - does he know what colours his team were playing in?

On the FGR equivalent of this thread:
"I may not rate as a goalkeeper, but am pleased for the bloke, cannot have been nice to have gone though these allegations.

That brings me to Lincoln, yet again they show themselves to be a horrible classless club. They may have a better team than us, but we are the far more classy club, we may have less fans but, we have better fans in my opinion.

Yes they were rained on Tuesday, but the way they have reacted anybody would have thought they were shot at!!

I really cannot stand Lincoln as a club at all!"

I know I'm biased n all but I really don't get what we're doing wrong?! Yes our players sometimes timewaste but so does every other club in professional football. As for the classless comments... bizarre. I guess success breeds jealousy?

Some pretty irrational stuff being banded about on the FGR forum, one comment even suggesting that the FA punish us for making false accusations. Needless to say that "no evidence of wrongdoing" is a million miles away from "they were innocent and wrongly accused".
The fact that some of our local rivals fans have joined in to castigate us leads me to believe that alot of this is jelousy of our current momentum, particularly the abuse aimed at our management team. As we all know any one of these teams would give almost anything to have the Cowleys in charge.
However sorry guys but they are going nowhere, and certainly not to teams like Grimsby, Mansfield or FGR...
