Didn't Danny Cowley mention something about that in today's Press Conference?

Assuming the rules are unchanged from last season:
“If a player accumulates two cautions in the Checkatrade Trophy up to and including the quarter-final fixtures, he will be suspended automatically from the next Checkatrade Trophy match. ”

So a yellow card against Peterborough for Farman, Long, Eardley, Green or Waterfall would mean they miss the semi-final if we get there.

It would also suggest that no player can be suspended for the final unless sent off.

Up to and including the Newport game.

8: Michael Bostwick, Matt Rhead
6: Ollie Palmer
5: Lee Frecklington, James Wilson
4: Neal Eardley, Luke Waterfall
2: Matt Green, Sam Habergham, Alex Woodyard
1: Nathan Arnold, Paul Farman, Sean Long, Elliott Whitehouse, Jordan Williams
0: Harry Anderson, Danny Rowe, Cameron Stewart, Josh Vickers.

The cut-off point for ten yellows is the 37th league match of the season, currently scheduled to be the away game at Chesterfield on 10 March. Ten yellows incurred on or before then will incur a two-match ban.

We have 8 games to play before the cut-off is extended to 15 yellows for the final stages of the season (leading to a three-match ban).

No point in listing yellows for the Checkatrade now - they no longer apply.

3 Reds: Danny Cowley. :pointy:

Think he has as many as his players.
Though today's seems even more bizarre than the other two are they were pretty harsh IMHO

For what it's worth the Club website report says Habergham on 90 minutes, but iFollow Live Text says Woodyard 91st minute 'for a bad foul'.

If what Danny said in his post-match interview is right he has to appeal it. He said it was after the HT whistle went and he went on to the pitch to stop Waterfall geting at the ref and calm him down.

Maybe DC is being economical with the truth. Kettle may be an unfit , inept and hides behind his authority but he wouldn't fabricate a sending off.

The FA website confirms the fourth yellow was for Habergham, not for Woodyard as some thought.
