Random quote: Harry is fiddling under the bonnet of his car. A tramp walks by, stops and looks at him. "Piston broke" explains Harry. "Ah yes" says the tramp "so am I"

He's been a work in progress in his time here, he earned his joy in the promotion celebrations, he made an important contribution as sub that day.

Assume Burnley are looking for regular starts and the step down makes sense, hope it works for him.

He'll always be respected here, a good lad who gives 100%

One out today according to sportin Hortin, so its him or Stewart I would guess.

Would think the odds are on Stewart on the evidence of game-time, impact, etc.

OK! So what do I know! Just want to add good luck and thanks Gino for all your contribution. There's definitely a talented footballer in there as you showed some sublime skills at times. Keep working hard and wouldn't mind seeing you back in an Imps shirt at some stage.

I like Ginnelley and think he will be a good player in a few years but he's not ready yet to play in a promotion chasing L2 side. It'd be interesting to know whose decision it was to end the loan.

I would also be interested. Same with Jmd. The option of regular loans from the likes of Burnley and Brighton not to be sniffed at. But we need to get the balance right between picking the players when we want, and giving the player enough game time to keep the prem club happy

I think DC probably made his mind up on both, especially JMD.

The Rowe deal seemed to have been struck quite early, so that'd indicate that he was planning on sending at least one back.

On Rowe as the game wore on he was superb. Another few games to bring him right up to speed and he is a terrific acquisition. Very similar to Anderson that he runs towards the goal rather than hugging the touch line.

Old exam question, compare and contrast, JMD V Danny Rowe ! Makes a good headache about Anderson walking back into the team next week. The more competition for all places the better, thought Arnold when he came on looked more lively than for weeks. You can never have enough wingers. As for Ginnelly good luck for him at Tranni but in the harsh world of footi his time was up and thank you. UTI.

I thought Williams was excellent too. A natural left-footer with good body strength - definitely will not be pushed off the ball like JMD and Ginnelly were. His headed knock down for Freck's goal was superb.

Rowe and Williams are definitely an upgrade on JMD and Ginnelly. Freck will be a great addition. Wilson sounds experienced enough for L2, although Bostwick was a beast yesterday at centre back.

We just need that extra goal poaching striker and January will be been the best transfer window for years.
