Excellent news - let's just hope that the feed doesn't keep breaking down.

Here it is: http://www.lincoln.vitalfootball.co.uk/forum/forums/thread-view.asp...

I may have exaggerated but it was still 91% to move to BBC so thank you for listening!

That thread is Comedy Gold

I'll eat my hat if that happens, Eric (at least if it happens with anything like the same regularity).

Despite what Croozey thinks on another thread the platform was not the cause of the breaks.

Good news! Does anybody know whether the BBC will be the commentary on the "watch" as well as the "listen" as currently they are different?

Believe they are different.

The video and audio should be the same commentary, but I imagine the audio and video will be still out of sync as it was before.

This is terrific news. It solves the problem of the atrocious in-house commentary. Will it solve the technical problems that surround this service?

Well I could put up with the commentary, it was the technical side of the service that I really objected to after forking out £45, so I certainly hope so....

Edit: My partner will be disappointed though, the commentary team provided her with many moments of amusement over the course of the season while I was listening.

During the Luton game she remarked "It's very windy there today isn't it?" to which I replied that one of the commentators was breathing very hard into the mic, cue her falling about in laughter

Also the never ending amusement to be had from her remarks as we approach half time
"Is it time for biscuits yet?"
"Has the onion bag bulged?"
"What's in the sandwiches today?"

etc etc...

I'd like to thank Alan, Chris and Kev etc. for their efforts particularly as it was almost certainly on a volunteer basis, it's not an easy job I'm sure (although I'm confident I could do at least as well as Chris) hopefully you guys can now just relax and enjoy watching the Imps without the stress of delivering the commentary...

We’ll see now if that sorts it. iFollow always claimed the technical problems were down to the club and not their service. Well we know the BBC Radio Lincolnshire feed is great so we shall see.

After a long working day and a drive up toLincoln for tomorrow's game this is great news. About time too, after 26 games, and weeks and weeks of complaints and pleadings, common sense has prevailed.

Made my day, even though should be at the next two games; that and a couple of good signings too.

I'm not sure stress was ever evident.

If Hortin or Thommo make ironic references to 'the old onion bag' tomorrow there may be consequences in Chester....

Just to clarify, does this mean ONLY the i-Follow "radio" commentary coverage or will they also do the commentary on the live TV match coverage (I hope so as I love the TV coverage but am fed up listening to the amateur commentator sat in what sounds like a wooden shed, echoing, listening to him cough and yawn - YES YAWN!) during games and getting players names wrong, whats happening, incidents, etc.
