I thought the disallowed goal was for a foul by Green. There was a bit of a 50/50 coming together with the defender and having endured 90 minutes of that fool in the black, I was watching him when that happened as I knew he was going to blow up. Sure enough, he signalled for a foul straightaway before Palmer got on the ball. That’s how I saw it from where I was anyway.

Whatever the case, yet another terrible but depressingly predictable decision from that clown.

I didn't even think it was 50/50, Green was too strong for their lad and got in front of him. At that point if anyone is going to go down as a foul it's Green. Shocking decision, but par for the day.
10v12 at Meadow lane, we got beat
11v12 at home we got a draw.
Notts are in serious trouble if we ever play them with a half decent man in black!

Radio says at least 1 stonewall penalty turned down (and Hortin reckons we should have had another) and apparently the lino didn't flag for our disallowed goal, be interesting to review the game tomorrow...

After a shaky first 30 minutes after we scored we have absolutely battered them and should of won two games as Luke mentions. Definitely two points dropped, I think over time County will be brought into the pack they were on gas and air after 70 minutes.

Good debuts for all once we settled down, just felt if Anderson wasn't suspended he was capable of ripping their full backs a new one. However him and Rowey on either wing is a frightening prospect.

One forward lacking?

Interesting you think County will be brought into the pack as I think the same,I think 2nd and 3rd spots are up for grabs,it looks like Luton may win the title but will they?
They lost again today second loss in three games albeit away from home

Just spoke to my sister (season ticket holder)who was at the game. She said Lincoln were fantastic. The best game she'd been to(all the home league games) for all round entertainment, all season.

You could put a valid argument out that we could have taken 6 points off the top 2 in the last 2 games with slightly more composure and things running our way.

If Notts lose Grant, I’d expect them to face a proper fight for automatics.

By the way Plumbob, you’re completely right fella... that Green challenge was not a 50/50...

agree with this. we also showed today how evenly balanced the notts away game could have been 11v11. and more than matched luton in our home game. 2 points from 12 though... one quality striker could have pushed those four results even more in our favour?

re: Grant: the referee clearly sees Grant pushing Freck to the ground off the ball, how can that be a yellow?

On the referee’s performance, Nolan added: “I don’t want to have a go at the officials because they have a difficult job. When you have 9,000 people trying to get them to make decision it becomes hard for them.”

Or he could just listen to you.

great game to watch.

My first instinct having watched both the league games is why do NCFC spend more time trying to get the opposition booked and sent off than playing to there strengths? All of there rolling around and head injury’s today, yet I don’t think there physio actually came on to the field until the 72nd minute if I remember correctly.

I think DC has done a great job so far in January as the players coming in are from what I have seen in one game, better than what we have or those that have departed.

I can’t wait to see Rowe and Anderson on alternate wings.

I thought Bostwick, Waterfall along with Greene were excellent today.

The ref as has been said was awful. I said before hand it would be a hard game to ref and it was sadly way above his station in my opinion. Numerous big desicions he got wrong.

Great advert for Div 2, can see them both in Div 1 next season. Ref should be demoted to his level whatever that is, but why should they suffer.

Called that disallowed goal a bit wrong, didn't I?!

It was indeed for a 'foul'. Very debateable!

Wow. At the time it all happened so fast that I was prepared to give the ref the benefit of the doubt, but that really is shocking.

Referees need to be held accountable for this sort of thing but you can guarantee he'll be back officiating next weekend with no consequences at all for his ineptitude.

Thanks for that Impster - seems pretty clear that Greeny had the betterof the first defender for pace and strength, without fouling, and the second Notts defender fell over his own team mate when he collepsed after trying to defend against Greeny.

I actually think the assistant flagged Palmer offside.

Two very good points from yesterday, the fans from both Clubs from what I saw mixed really well before the game, respect for each other, ( years ago there would have been running battles) and the ovation Hawkridge got from our lot when he was subbed. UTI.
