Random quote: Harry is fiddling under the bonnet of his car. A tramp walks by, stops and looks at him. "Piston broke" explains Harry. "Ah yes" says the tramp "so am I"

I can see Frek going straight into the mid-field with Bossie at the back again. Will have wait and see about the others.

I reckon keep Bossie at the back for this one (mom at dale) with Freck joining Woody in midfield. This would allow more time for Wilson to get “on method”.

If we go with bozzy at the back to allow freck, then we could sub Wilson when freck gets tired and move bozzy forward. The options with the team now are aplenty

Very excited about the new signings. I too was up early this morning like you redimps1.
I think Danny Rowe will start with Williams sharing game time with Arnold
Come on you imps!

Setting off in an hour or so with a car full. Haven't felt such anticipation for ages.

So tight at the top of the league. 3points could take us to third ( even a point might be enough) however a defeat could leave us 10th
come on you imps. Excited

We are also very much looking forward to today's game. I expect Freck to start, Danny Rowe too. Others may come on later.

I think the opposite - Bostwick back into midfield, Wilson into defence alongside Waterfall. I think it is too early to disturb the midfield until Freck has the method, especially against a promotion rival. Minimal disruption for this one.

Rowe will start.

Come on you Imps!!

I'm with Scotimp, this isn't the match to shake the team up too drastically. Next week, though.....

I agree Scotimp. Just what I was about to say! I don't think freck has played much recently, so assume he'll need to get up to fitness and learn the method before starting; perhaps he'll come on late as a sub.

Excited and nervous about this one. Hate how open it is at the top of the league but gone are the days when we would melt under pressure. We'll have to be at our best (and keep 11 men on the field this time) to stand a chance.

Was speaking to a Brentford fan about last weekend and it sounds like Counteh were up to their old tricks. Surrounding the ref, playacting, Stead described as auditioning for RADA.
All teams do it to a certain extent, but Counteh are rather good at it. Hope the ref has them sussed.
They were also described as a team of well organised donkeys. But that's probably Championship sour grapes talking.
A weakened Brentford team did batter them though but just couldn't score. Counteh, two shots, one goal.
I would love it........love it........ if we beat them.
Come on City.
