...we played at home to Dover Athletic (09 January 2016) on the second Saturday of the month. We lost 2-3 in front of 2,402 with 103 visiting supporters.

Sort of puts things into perspective, don't you think?

Four of the players who played in today's game appeared for the Imps that day. Without cheating, can you name them?

Raggs played for them and was paraded by their chairman after the game with his ripped shirt.
Both him and Rheady were booked.

So far, in League games only, we have seen an overall attendance of 121,650 in our 14 games.

That is an average of 8,690 rounded up.

All I can say is, wow!

Too right! I have been watching the Imps since 1963 and my dreams are finally coming true!

That is even though I witnessed the Championship years of '76, '88 and '17 plus the promotion years of '81 and '98.

A game with it's own penalty moment
Miller ran us ragged and scored twice and Hearn got his final goal for us I believe?
Amazing to think what's happened since!

Started just after you then Impalex, dad took me to my first game in 1965 (it was a reserve game but can’t remember it.. I was only three) Had a season ticket from my teenage years. Dads first game was in 1947 and now I take him to the games, though he doesn’t travel away anymore ( apart from Arsenal..he wouldn’t miss that one) as he’s 84 now
This journey just seems better to me than the other good times, limited as they were, maybe because it’s current, the here and now.
Let’s all enjoy the ride and see where it takes us uti

Coincidentally, my dad also started going in 1947 when he lived at first Bleasby Moor and then Market Rasen. We moved to Lincoln in 1961 when I was six and he began taking me from March 1963 when I had turned eight. Sadly, my father passed away in 2003 at age 80 and his very last game was at home to Carlisle Utd in August 2002.

Sorry to hear you lost your dad, you must have lots of good memories
I hope to have a few more great memories with mine, he doesn’t walk well now but he’s loving it at the moment so even if I have to push him in a wheelchair in the future I’ll try to get him there
