Wow that was quick. Game's hardly finished. Did it say something about new owners? Either he wasn't their choice for manager or Derry didn't fancy working with the new owners.

Not going to happen is it?

We won't get promoted if we can't beat these mid table sides.

Have to agree with you,unbelievable

I think you all have to take in what we have done this week (game Tues & Fri) and what we will be doing next Tues.

These boys have just got us to Wembley, a point away from home after a Tues and Fri game - respect.

It was a crucial late goal for us last Saturday but at the end of the day win at home draw away. It was 2 points dropped v Swindon that's more disappointing than tonight - even more so being 1 up vs 10 men.

That point at Cambridge is a GOOD result. I never saw us winning there. Very arrogant to think we can win everywhere.

People complaining need to take a rain check. We are in our sticky patch right now, but guess what, we are drawing the games not losing them. Still all set up for a charge on the top 3.

A few wins get us into play offs. Tomorrow most of our competitors play each other. Expectations need to be realistic.

I thought it was a bit of a crap game to be honest. A couple of good chances for each team but neither had the killer instinct to convert them.

It’s clear that we’re drawing far too many games and very gradually drifting away. I thought Cambridge looked pretty poo, but improved after some substitutions. So from that view a draw not really good enough but we looked completely knackered after the recent hectic scheduling. We looked weak in midfield, both Woodyard and Bossy were struggling. Final delivery unfortunately just lacking.

Green MOM, runs after everything has immense fitness and was unlucky not to get a goal.

Finally, that was one of the worst stadiums I’ve been to. Sitting behind the goal was a mistake! So far away from the pitch it was impossible to know what was going on in the other half!

Overall, decent point considering. But we must improve and need to get a win under the belt.

being well organised gets you lots of steady draws.
another one of our huff and puff games, creating no clear cut chances. i hope freck is the missing link to creating a bit more, as our forwards just don't create when left to their own devices. also games like today we look very shot shy around the box - are they instructed not to shoot from 20 yards?

anderson looked shattered again. needs a rest.
corr had the best chance at the far post, and i thought their number 9 and the right winger both looked useful when they came on. gave habergham serious problems.

the good news, 50 points reached. uti.

The last eighteen months have been amazing. Give the players and the manager some slack after another history making week. We cannot win every game and we are certainly in the mix for play offs and possibly automatic promotion. I have been amazed when at away games this season the abuse given to the team by a number of fans. Just think where we have been.

That was my point. If you can't win don't lose. But before too long you have to win more than you draw.

'a very entertaining 0 0' says Steve thompson 'one of the best ive seen'...

hmm... bit of a stretch?

more than a bit- tough game to watch tonight. Tired team with tired legs, reminded me of the last 25 minutes against Stevenage on Boxing day- they looked blown out. Had a couple of chances but little more than that.

Still a point away from home is still a point- will have to see what the other results bring this weekend

Just got home and can't believe that some on here are suggesting that the draw tonight was anything other than a decent point.
Sure a win would have been great but Cambridge are pretty decent at home and other teams will struggle at the Abbey.
DC post match was very proud of the effort the team put in and admitted they were running on gas and air second half. This was pretty much how I saw it, in fact the cynic in me thought Cambridge who refused to move the match to Saturday employed their very pacey substitutes on the hour mark knowing they would give a tired Lincoln team all sorts of problems...
So as I said a draw, in the end, was a decent result.

It was a decent point, no doubt. Cambridge are a good home team and gave us some very scary moments, but we dug in and got a draw. Towards the final whistle it was end-to-end stuff and very entertaining.

Totally agree with Cooperative Imp. Cambridge have a decent home record, despite their recent poor run of form. Thats the most tired I've seen this team look this season and they really lacked that sharpness they normally have. But when you remember what they achieved just three days earlier I think it only fair to cut the lads a bit of slack. Cambridge knocked the ball about well for periods and made Lincoln chase after the ball. They also introduced some pacy players in the second half (as Cooperative said which I am equally sure was a deliberate move against tiredopposition). Despite that our lads stood up to everything Cambridge threw at them, which I have to say wasn't a hugely impressive or quality amount. Nevertheless, they answered the questions and survived for a point - and could have won it witha. Little more luck. How many times do you see good or top teams lose games like that after a previously epic performance? I say well done the lads - keeps us in the mix (but we do have to start winning again).

DIdnt go so cant really comment but I’d never thought I’d see the day we had Lincoln fans complaining about the team losing just once in what is it, 15 games?

Some are really going to come down to earth with a bump when we have a genuine bad run.
