I can't see potato head Slade being in charge when the Cods visit the Bank.

Unfortunately. They may be on a dead cat bounce by then . The longer Slade stays the better.

Absolutely.

However, Slade must be on the thinnest of ice after today.

It's a good job their Chairman seems to take great delight in doing the opposite of what the fans want.

I am staggered he is still in a job but good old Fenty is backing him all the way 3 points out of 33 is relegation form.

Terrific set of results today, which in spite of our recent drawn games leaves us in a good position.

Next opponents, Cheltenham and Crawley won and scored 8 between them today. This next week could be massive.

I will settle for two turgid 1-0 City victories.

I've seen a video on Twitter of the cods warm up today its cringe worthy.

Re: Slade, I believe the club has said that they simply can't afford to sack him due to some clause in his contract. Therefore, he's staying, for better or worse!

(I may be wrong, please correct me if so!)

I was lucky enough to go to Blunders and didnt think there was that much between us . I confidently predicted they wouldn't go down, but they do appear to be edging ever closer to the abyss, im not so sure now. Forest Green with their new recruits might start to pick up in form, cant see how Cods can.

Barnet's win puts our draw in some perspective - I can see them taking FGR over.

Cods have now gone 12 games without a win.
Just four goals and points in that time.
Their last win was on December 9th v pgr 1-0
In a little bit of trouble...

Sounds like all is not well at Meadow Lane either.

You can get odds of 20/1 although most are at 16/1 if you fancy Grimsby to continue their slide toward the basement.

Which is bizarre because after Neil Woods, Fenty vowed never to hand out long contracts again (why he just doesn't put pay-off clauses in there, I don't know) and gave Hurst and Scott, Hurst and Bignot all 6-month rolling contracts.
