To see such a prodigy of our fountain slip through the net is as heartbreaking as Paul Greens potential early end to a promising career. A composed and skilful player, so much was expected of the youngster over the next couple of years. Some were even talking of him being our first million pound player. However he lacked the desire according to Jacko. Peter tried with the warning of Boston football, but was unable to shake him up. A local lad who quite literally turned up on the beach, Skeggy Beach to be precise, can go far if he finds the most important ingredient for any footballer. The desire to win drives players like Kovaks, Moses and Tony Adams to greatness because they want it and work for it every waking moment. Gary King will not be the first or last jewel on the beach to get drowned by the tide.
