England C

Pen Pic

One of Lincoln's current longest-serving first-team players, having first joined on loan from Gateshead in the 2011-2012 season, playing eight games. Farman's a very talented shot-stopper with superb reaction times, and at his best is as good as anyone at Conference level. Recently handed a two-year contract, he'll be looking to add greater consistency to his game, and reward Gary Simpson's obvious faith in him. The Newcastle-born goalkeeper began his career as a trainee at his home-town club, before joining Blyth Spartans, and eventually securing a transfer to Gateshead in 2009. If Farman can cut out the mistakes that blighted his game during the mid-point of last season, and work on his distribution and aerial command, there's nothing stopping him moving up and into the Football League.
