Average Player Ratings V Hyde (A)
A topsy-turvy affair at Ewen Fields saw City edge past lowly Hyde last Saturday. Who was a hit with the fans this week?
Strikers Ben Tomlinson and Delano Sam-Yorke scored sevens across the board to top the charts, with posters praising the quality of their finishes. Plumbob noted that he 'can't see Sam-Yorke staying' after a 'strong showing' while Tomlinson 'took his goal beautifully'. The scores see Tomlinson carry on his fine run of form while Sam-Yorke is averaging 7.43 since his arrival.
With only three posters coming up with scores this week there wasn't much variation in the marks, with second shared between Brown, Newton and Power (6.67). KeithKeithKeith noted that Power was 'at the centre of City's moves,' while plumbob said that Brown was 'commanding' in the air.
Elsewhere and a stricken Paul Farman scored 5.67, with posters noting that he had 'little chance' with the goals, especially on one leg! Mitch Austin struggled to make an impact as impressive as his fellow Cambridge loanee only coming home with a score of 5.00, the lowest mark in a fairly small range of scores.
The marks mean that Tom Miller retains his spot at the top of the player ratings charts for the season (6.64) ahead of Sean Newton (6.53).Full ratings as follows:
