Average Player Ratings V Chester (H)
City played out a 1-1 draw in an eventful encounter against Chester on Saturday, meaning the Imps have now lost just one of their last six. Who shone this time around?
The highest marked player was Tom Miller, who continues to be the definition of consistency. Miller scored 7.18 to be the only Imps player over 7 this week, receiving three 8s from Vital posters. NottyImp and Luke Imp both labelled the defender as 'Mr Reliable', while plumbob called him 'the best of a bad bunch!'
Second then went to 'keeper Nick Townsend (6.96) who has impressed in his two outings so far. BrownImp noted that he 'kept us in the game', although Dutch1585 and plumbob both suggested he might have done better with the goal. Townsend came in ahead of Todd Jordan (6.57), a display which NottyImp called 'a decent spoiling performance'. Snats meanwhile particularly praised his first half display.
On the naughty step this week was Alan Power who scored 4.36, despite his controversial man of the match award! Criticism was put forward over his decision making, second half performance and attitude, with Bert Bowery giving him 1/10! Conner Robinson also struggled in his cameo, only managing 4.29, with tornado imp noting that 'he didn't see enough of the ball' and BrownImp arguing that he was 'bullied'.
