A fantastic performance at the Hive secured Lincoln three points against a heavily-fancied Barnet side who had scored seven and conceded zero in their opening two encounters. Needless to say it was a good week for ratings!

Man of the match for the second time in three games was Nick Townsend, with a fantastic score of 9.00 including the first 10 of the season from BrownImp! The on loan stopper was pretty much flawless all afternoon, making a stunning fingertip save to deny Lee Cook, claiming crosses, smothering strikers bearing down on goal and having an all-round stormer. BrownImp stated that he is 'simply too good for this level', while Luke Imp noted that he 'came and caught everything he needed to.' An early benchmark for the best performance of the season this one!

Second place then goes to Jon Nolan (8.22), who continues his impressive start to the season. Skeggyimp wrote that 'you wanted him on the ball all the time', and the midfielder was certainly looking confident on the ball once again, putting in a quite fantastic cross for Hamza Bencherif to nod home.

The bronze medal position is then shared between Sean Newton and Nat Brown (8.00), who both had great games across the back four. Brown put in a typically committed performance and hardly put a foot wrong against the dangerous Akinde, while Newton bagged himself another assist and dominated the left flank, particularly in the first half of the game.

A quick glance at the posters involved showed a consistent trend of marks above seven, with the average 7.55. Unusually, three posters came in at 7.55 exactly! Belshazzar was just ahead as the highest scorer (8.09) while Rigby23 was the lowest (7.00). A match where no one fared poorly then - keep it up City!

Full ratings are as follows:

Townsend 9.00
Caprice 6.67
Diagne 7.11
