8.03 For Anthony Taylor v Arsenal FC

8.03 For Anthony Taylor v Arsenal FC
The Referee for our 5-0 defeat away at Arsenal FC in the Quarter-Finals of The Emirates FA Cup was Anthony Taylor.

Let's take a look at the comments:

Snats: "Premier League experience showed. Let the game flow and only one or two dodgy decisions. An 8.5 from me."

plumbob: "To be fair, he let the game flow and got most things right. Maybe missed a couple bookings, Wood on Sanchez first half and one of their lunging with studs up second? Also could probably have given them a penalty at 5-0 and perhaps showed us pity, as he did with 0 added minutes!

8/10."

NottyImp: "8/10. Fairly consistent."

Kentishimp: "9/10 from me. A decent premiership referee, handled the game well taking into account the difference in ability of footballing between the two sides.

Showed common sense when he called Waterfall as captain over to talk and calm things down in the first half when some of our tackles were getting heated at times."

Rasenimp: "8/10, generally very good. Thought he did some nice things with the occasion (not playing loads of added time) and he got on top of a few over zealous tackles by getting the yellow out really quickly.

How he and the linesman didn't give ozil just barrelling through Arnold I will never know though!!"

Scotimp: "7.5.

Let the game flow when he could, but also missed too many things - Wood's challenge on Sanchez (definite yellow), Koscielny's elbow on Rhead (definite straight red), and Perez taking a swallow dive in the box.

Still miles better than the rubbish we get in the NL though."
