Taking top spot for the first time in his fledgling Imps career is OLLIE PALMER, who got the side off to a great start after 7 minutes. He still managed to keep up his record of only having finished one game - he has either been substituted or has come on as a sub in the other 11 games to date. That is odd, considering he is our joint-top scorer.
"Proved the knockers wrong, led the line with pace and power. Good goal and a great 45 minutes. Match deciding performance." (johnolbe)
"Great to see the big man get a chance. Excellent goal, energetic and tested the keeper on other occasions. Assured performance." (syimp)
"Did really well and took his goal excellently. Showed power and pace, along with some good footwork. On that evidence, has done enough to be starting against Grimsby." (The Imposter)
In second place is one of the other joint-top scorers, HARRY ANDERSON, who scored for the third game in four. With patchy initial form from Jordan Maguire-Drew and the continued absence of Nathan Arnold, Harry appears to have nailed down a starting berth for the time being.
"Getting better every game. Brilliant on and off the ball." (Snats)
"I love watching this guy, really hungry, my kind of winger. That's 3 in 4 games and was only denied a 2nd by a great save." (Dreaming of McAuley)
"What potential. Raw but willing to get by his man. Good finish and unlucky not to score more." (elkimp)
In third place comes MICHAEL BOSTWICK, who took top spot in the defeat at Notts County. With the big man now finding a good degree of consistency, the only thing missing is a goal.
"Seems to be getting better now with each game." (cambridgeimp83)
"Not as mobile as Woodyard but works just as hard and broke up their play." (cooperativeimp)
"Good first half. Shut down Barnet attacks despite all their possession in the second." (Stevie_imp)
