Average Player Ratings v Notts County (h)

Average Player Ratings v Notts County (h)
Two of the top three this week were players making their home debuts, which bodes well for the future. In first place is DANNY ROWE, who appears to have added significantly to the Cowley cannon of wingers.

"Great home debut. Started doing the defensive stuff, then turned on the runs & crosses. Can't wait for him to be fit & fully integrated." (PerthImp)

"Quick, defenders hate pace and he has lots of it, hangs out wide more stretching the play, good crosses." (impsimps)

"Showed flashes of what he will be like. Will only get better." (kettrin imp)

In second place comes the resurgent MATT GREEN, who is finally scoring the goals his determined running deserves. Green has now scored 7 in his last 10 games, and has scored in 5 of the last 6 home games.

"MOTM for me. They kept getting caught out by him, he stretched the play, scored a good goal and looked to last longer than he normally does with his continuous sprints. Will probably be disappointed he didn't get a second goal." (Luke Imp)

"MOTM He was everywhere and far too pacey for their defence particularly in the last twenty minutes. Scored a good goal, should have had another." (berksimps)

"Ran them ragged. His energy and effort is brilliant. Only criticism is he sometimes needs 5 or 6 chances to score." (cooperativeimp)

In third place we have the return of the native, LEE FRECKLINGTON, who marked his second City debut with a typical Frecklington goal. Players with the knack of arriving in the box at the right time are at a premium at this level, and it will be interesting to see how League Two defences cope with him.

"Our hero, my hero. returned and very nearly made THE most embarrassing return to a home club ever, but picked up on the pace of the game, did some organising as one of the senior players and capped his display with a well-taken goal. Will only get better." (syimp)

"Typical Freck goal after a hell of shaky 15 minutes. Quality when he gets on the ball but bypassed too much." (johnolbe)

"What the team has been missing, a forward thinking and forward passing CM. Great goal too." (elkimp)

The average team score was 7.15.

1. Danny Rowe 7.91
2. Matt Green 7.88
3. Lee Frecklington 7.29
